Es Selamun Aleykum ve Rahmetullahi ve Berakatuh
Bismillah.

We ended September in a relatively calm manner compared to its beginning.
If we examine our news headlines for this week in order, we can summarize them as follows:

  • Fuel Running Out in Gaza!
  • Starbucks in East Turkestan!
  • US-Iran War
  • US Plan for Sudan
  • Demolition of 600-Year-Old Mosque
  • Hijab Ban in Azerbaijan
  • Books Sacrificed to Artificial Intelligence
It was a calmer week compared to previous weeks.
So let us examine in order what happened this week.

Fuel Running Out in Gaza!

The health system in Gaza is under great threat, particularly due to a lack of fuel, spare parts, and funding. Al-Rantisi Children's Hospital in Gaza has closed some of its departments and can currently only sustain emergency and vital services; the intensive care unit and some ventilators cannot operate at full capacity. Hospital officials state that a 1.5-month-old baby lost their life due to the inability to use intensive care services. Despite all these developments, there is no trace of so-called peace or a so-called peace council. On the contrary, while attacks continue, aid is also being blocked. If you want to spread the boycott to prevent support for oppression at the very least, you can use the Boycott Materials.

Starbucks in East Turkestan!

Starbucks, which supports the genocide in Gaza, is about to add a new one to the crimes it is part of by opening two new branches in East Turkestan, which is under occupation and named Xinjiang—meaning "New China"—by oppressive China. This week, Starbucks opened two stores in Urumqi, the capital of East Turkestan: one in the famous Grand Bazaar and the other at the international airport. This situation once again demonstrates how important the boycott and Ummah consciousness are.

US-Iran War

In the US-Iran war, which has passed its seventh month, a clear stage has still not been reached. Amid ongoing inconsistent statements from both sides, clashes that start and stop repeatedly, and truces made and broken, the war continues as an increasingly uncertain crisis. While the global economy continues to face severe strain, according to recent developments, an official response was given by US officials to Iran's latest proposal submitted to the US, but no clear statement has been made regarding the content of the response or whether it is positive or negative.

US Plan for Sudan

Amjad Farid, a senior adviser to the Sudanese army-led administration, warned that the US-proposed plan to stop the war in Sudan could drive the country toward a de facto Libya-style partition in its current form. The US proposal foresees a 90-day ceasefire between the army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), followed by the start of negotiations to end the war. However, the Sudanese administration demands certain modifications, such as the withdrawal of the RSF from cities under international supervision. According to Farid, Washington is not sufficiently taking these demands into account and adopts an approach that allows the RSF to maintain its existence as an armed force and take part in the country's future political structure. This situation is likely to turn into one of the occupations carried out by the US—which brings war and trouble wherever it goes—under the guise of distributing peace.

Demolition of 600-Year-Old Mosque

The decision to demolish a section of the approximately 600-year-old Shahi Mosque in the city of Ujjain, India, has sparked outrage. The Shahi Mosque is believed to have been built around 1390 by Dilawar Khan during the Malwa Sultanate period. The Indian administration, which has effectively become the eastern branch of Israel, decided to remove a portion of the mosque under the pretext of widening roads for Hindu pilgrimage and festival events. The Muslim community long objected to the decision and held protests, but as the decision was not withdrawn, community members preferred to dismantle the mosque with their own hands to prevent the demolition from being carried out by security forces or heavy machinery.

Hijab Ban in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, which has already drawn reactions by taking the side of genocidal Israel rather than Palestine and being among the rare countries whose delegation did not leave the hall while the despicable Netanyahu spoke at the UN, has now banned the hijab in schools within the scope of secularism. In Azerbaijan, female students wearing the hijab were turned away from school on the grounds that they were covered in accordance with ALLAH's command following changes made to school uniform rules. This situation shows us once again that brotherhood is formed not by race, but by religion.

Books Sacrificed to Artificial Intelligence

Some artificial intelligence companies are approaching publishers in Turkey—especially academic publishing houses—to purchase books for use in training AI models. They offer relatively low fees of around 100-200 euros per book, and some companies even attempt to buy digital copies of books without licensing agreements. Publishers hold the view that such an agreement allows the content of the work to be used in training AI models over a long period rather than just once, which could weaken authors' copyrights. On the other hand, it is also known that abroad, even very rare works are digitized to train AI models and their physical copies are subsequently destroyed.

Yes, we have completed another week. May my Lord grant us the opportunity to meet in better weeks. We apologize for uploading our content late this week.

Effort is from us, success is from ALLAH.

Say: "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." (Surah Az-Zumar - Verse 53)

Selamun aleykum.
