•Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. He is the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. It is You alone we worship and it is You alone we ask for help. Guide us to the straight path. The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor. Not of those who have incurred wrath, nor of those who have gone astray.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ
Fatiha 1-7
•"Our Lord! Accept this from us. Indeed, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing."
رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Bakara 127
•"Our Lord! Make us both submissive to You, and from our descendants a submissive nation to You. Show us our rites of worship, and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Acceptor of Repentance, the Most Merciful."
رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُسْلِمَةً لَكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
Bakara 128
•When a calamity befalls them, they say: "Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return."
الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Bakara 156
•There are those who say: "Our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Bakara 201
•"Our Lord! Pour upon us patience, make our feet firm, and grant us victory over the disbelieving people."
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Bakara 250
•"We make no distinction between any of His messengers. We have heard and we obey. Our Lord! We seek Your forgiveness, and to You is the final return."
آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ رَبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۚ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِنْ رُسُلِهِ ۚ وَقَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۖ غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ
Bakara 285
•Our Lord! Do not hold us accountable if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, do not place upon us a burden like that which You placed upon those before us. Our Lord! Do not burden us with that which we have no strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so grant us victory over the disbelieving people.
رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِنْ نَسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ ۖ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۚ أَنْتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Bakara 286
•Our Lord! Do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from Yourself; indeed, You are the Bestower.
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Al-i Imran 8
•"Our Lord! We have indeed believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Al-i Imran 16
•"O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty! You give sovereignty to whom You will, and You take away sovereignty from whom You will; You exalt whom You will and abase whom You will; in Your hand is all good. Indeed, You are over all things competent. You cause the night to enter the day, and You cause the day to enter the night; You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living; and You provide for whom You will without measure."
قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ وَتَنْزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشَاءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ ۖ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
تُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَتُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ ۖ وَتُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ ۖ وَتَرْزُقُ مَنْ تَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
Al-i Imran 26-27
•"Our Lord! We believe in what You have sent down, and we follow the Messenger; so write us among the witnesses."
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ
Al-i Imran 53
•"Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and our excesses in our affairs, make our feet firm, and grant us victory over the disbelieving people."
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Al-i Imran 147
•Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
Al-i Imran 173
•"Our Lord! You did not create this in vain. Exalted are You. Protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Al-i Imran 191
•"Our Lord! Indeed, we heard a caller calling to faith, 'Believe in your Lord,' and we believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, remove from us our misdeeds, and cause us to die with the righteous."
رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلْإِيمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا ۚ رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ
Al-i Imran 193
•"Our Lord! Grant us what You promised us through Your messengers, and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You do not fail in Your promise."
رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدْتَنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۖ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ
Al-i Imran 194
•"Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves; if You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will surely be among the losers."
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
A'raf 23
•"Our Lord! Do not place us with the wrongdoing people."
رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
A'raf 47
•Our Lord! Pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims.
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ
A'raf 126
•"My Lord, exalted are You, I have repented to You."
سُبْحَانَكَ تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ
A'raf 143
•"My Lord! Forgive me and my brother, and admit us into Your mercy, for You are the Most Merciful of the merciful."
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِأَخِي وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِي رَحْمَتِكَ ۖ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
A'raf 151
•You are our Protector; forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best of forgivers. And decree for us good in this world and in the Hereafter; indeed, we have turned to You.
أَنْتَ وَلِيُّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۖ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْغَافِرِينَ
وَاكْتُبْ لَنَا فِي هَٰذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ إِنَّا هُدْنَا إِلَيْكَ
A'raf 155-156
•"Allah is sufficient for us; Allah will give us from His bounty, and so will His Messenger; indeed, we turn our hopes to Allah."
حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ سَيُؤْتِينَا اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَرَسُولُهُ إِنَّا إِلَى اللَّهِ رَاغِبُونَ
Tevbe 59
•"Allah is sufficient for me; there is no deity except Him; in Him I have put my trust; and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne."
حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ ۖ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
Tevbe 129
•"In Allah we have put our trust; Our Lord! Do not make us a trial for the wrongdoing people, and save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people."
عَلَى اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
وَنَجِّنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Yunus 85-86
•"My Lord! I seek refuge in You from asking You about that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy on me, I will be among the losers."
رَبِّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَسْأَلَكَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۖ وَإِلَّا تَغْفِرْ لِي وَتَرْحَمْنِي أَكُنْ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Hud 47
•My Lord! Prison is more to my liking than that to which they invite me. And unless You avert their plot from me, I might incline toward them and thus be of the ignorant.
رَبِّ السِّجْنُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا يَدْعُونَنِي إِلَيْهِ ۖ وَإِلَّا تَصْرِفْ عَنِّي كَيْدَهُنَّ أَصْبُ إِلَيْهِنَّ وَأَكُنْ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِينَ
Yusuf 33
•O Creator of the heavens and the earth! You are my Protector in this world and in the Hereafter; cause me to die as a Muslim and join me with the righteous.
فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَنْتَ وَلِيِّي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۖ تَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ
Yusuf 101
•"My Lord! Make me an establisher of prayer, and from my descendants. Our Lord! And accept my supplication."
رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِي ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ
Ibrahim 40
•"Our Lord! Forgive me, my parents, and the believers on the Day when the account is established."
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ
Ibrahim 41
•"My Lord! Have mercy on them as they raised me when I was small!"
رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
Isra 24
•"My Lord! Cause me to enter a sound entrance and cause me to exit a sound exit, and grant me from Yourself a supporting authority."
رَبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَلْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ سُلْطَانًا نَصِيرًا
Isra 80
•"Praise be to Allah, who has not taken a son, and who has no partner in sovereignty, nor has He any protector out of weakness. And magnify Him with all magnificence."
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَلِيٌّ مِنَ الذُّلِّ ۖ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيرًا
Isra 111
•"Our Lord! Grant us mercy from Yourself and guide us rightly in our affair."
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا
Kehf 10
•My Lord! Expand for me my chest, ease for me my task, untie the knot from my tongue that they may understand my speech.
رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي
وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي
وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانِي
يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي
Taha 25-28
•"My Lord! Increase me in knowledge."
رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
Taha 114
•"Adversity has touched me, (I seek refuge in You), and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful."
رَبِّ إِنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Anbiya 83
•"There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers."
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
Anbiya 87
•"My Lord! Do not leave me alone, and You are the best of inheritors."
رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِي فَرْدًا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ
Anbiya 89
•"My Lord! Support me because they have denied me."
رَبِّ انْصُرْنِي بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ
Mu'minun 26
•"My Lord! I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils. And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me."
رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ
وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ
Mu'minun 97-98
•"Our Lord! We have believed, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best of the merciful."
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۖ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Mu'minun 109
•"My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful."
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Mu'minun 118
•"Our Lord! Avert from us the punishment of Hell; indeed, its punishment is an enduring torment. Indeed, it is an evil residence and dwelling."
رَبَّنَا اصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا
إِنَّهَا سَاءَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَمُقَامًا
Furkan 65-66
•"Our Lord! Grant us from among our spouses and offspring comfort to our eyes, and make us leaders for the righteous."
رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
Furkan 74
•My Lord! Grant me wisdom and join me with the righteous. And grant me a good reputation among later generations. And make me among the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss. And do not disgrace me on the Day when they are resurrected, the Day when neither wealth nor children will benefit, except one who comes to Allah with a sound heart.
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ
وَاجْعَلْ لِي لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِي الْآخِرِينَ
وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنْ وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ النَّعِيمِ
وَلَا تُخْزِنِي يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ
يَوْمَ لَا يَنْفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ
إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى اللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ
Shuara 83-85, 87-89
•"My Lord! Enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into the ranks of Your righteous servants."
رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Neml 19
•"My Lord! Indeed, I have wronged myself, so forgive me."
رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي
Kasas 16
•"My Lord! Because of the favor You have bestowed upon me, I will never be a supporter of the criminals."
رَبِّ بِمَا أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ فَلَنْ أَكُونَ ظَهِيرًا لِلْمُجْرِمِينَ
Kasas 17
•"My Lord! Save me from the wrongdoing people."
رَبِّ نَجِّنِي مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
Kasas 21
•"My Lord! Indeed, I am in need of whatever good You send down to me."
رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ
Kasas 24
•"My Lord! Support me against the corrupting people."
رَبِّ انْصُرْنِي عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْمُفْسِدِينَ
Ankabut 30
•"O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen! You will judge between Your servants concerning that over which they differed."
اللَّهُمَّ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ أَنْتَ تَحْكُمُ بَيْنَ عِبَادِكَ فِي مَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
Zumer 46
•"Our Lord! Your mercy and knowledge encompass all things. So forgive those who repent and follow Your way, and protect them from the punishment of Hell."
رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ
Mu'min / Gafir
•"My Lord! Enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do righteousness of which You approve; and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims."
رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي فِي ذُرِّيَّتِي ۖ إِنِّي تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَإِنِّي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
Ahkaf 15
•"I have been overcome, so help me."
رَبِّ إِنِّي مَغْلُوبٌ فَانْتَصِرْ
Kamer 10
•"Our Lord! Forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith, and do not place in our hearts any resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord! Indeed, You are Kind and Merciful."
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ۚ رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ
Hashr 10
•"Our Lord! In You we have put our trust, and to You we have turned, and to You is the final destination. Our Lord! Do not make us a trial for the disbelievers; forgive us. Our Lord! Indeed, You are the Almighty, the Wise."
رَبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ
رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ۖ رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Mumtahina 4-5
•"Our Lord! Perfect for us our light and forgive us. Indeed, You are over all things competent."
رَبَّنَا أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Tahrim 8
•"My Lord! Do not leave upon the earth any disbeliever."
رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ دَيَّارًا
Nuh 26
•"My Lord! Forgive me, my parents, and whoever enters my house as a believer, and the believing men and believing women; and do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction."
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَنْ دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارًا
Nuh 28
•I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn, from the evil of what He has created, from the evil of darkness when it settles, from the evil of those who blow on knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies.
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ
مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ
وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ
وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
Felak 1-5
•I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the Sovereign of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer, who whispers in the breasts of mankind, from among the jinn and mankind.
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ
مَلِكِ النَّاسِ
إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ
مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ
الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ
مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ
Nas 1-6
•"O Allah! Forgive me my sin, my ignorance, my excess in my affairs, and all my faults of which You are more knowledgeable than I. O Allah! Forgive me my serious and joking deeds, my mistakes and intentional deeds. All of these are within me. O Allah! Forgive me what I have sent ahead and what I have left behind, what I have concealed and what I have done openly, and what You are more knowledgeable of than I. You are the Advancer and the Delayer, and You are over all things competent."
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي خَطِيئَتِي وَجَهْلِي وَإِسْرَافِي فِي أَمْرِي وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي جِدِّي وَهَزْلِي، وَخَطَئِي وَعَمْدِي، وَكُلُّ ذَلِكَ عِنْدِي، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ، وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ، وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي، أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ، وَأَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Sahih Muslim 2719
•O Allah! To You alone I have submitted; in You I have believed; in You I have put my trust; to You I have turned; and with Your help I have fought the enemy. O Allah! I seek refuge in Your might—there is no deity except You—from being led astray. You are the Living One who does not die, while jinn and mankind die.
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ، وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّتِكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَنْ تُضِلَّنِي، أَنْتَ الْحَيُّ الَّذِي لَا يَمُوتُ، وَالْجِنُّ وَالْإِنْسُ يَمُوتُونَ

•O Allah! Indeed, I ask You for every kind of good, immediate and deferred, what I know of it and what I do not know. And I seek refuge in You from every kind of evil, immediate and deferred, what I know of it and what I do not know. O Allah! Indeed, I ask You for the good that Your servant and Prophet asked of You, and I seek refuge in You from the evil from which Your servant and Prophet sought refuge in You. O Allah! Indeed, I ask You for Paradise and for words and deeds that bring one closer to it, and I seek refuge in You from the Fire and from words and deeds that bring one closer to it. And I ask You to make every decree You have decreed for me good.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ كُلِّهِ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا سَأَلَكَ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَاذَ بِكَ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ كُلَّ قَضَاءٍ قَضَيْتَهُ لِي خَيْرًا

•"O Allah! I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the Hereafter."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ

•O Allah! I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah! I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly life, my family, and my property. O Allah! Conceal my faults and calm my fears. O Allah! Protect me from what is in front of me, behind me, on my right, on my left, and above me. I seek refuge in Your greatness from being struck down from beneath me."
اللَّهمَّ إنِّي أسألُك العافيةَ في الدُّنيا والآخرةِ اللَّهمَّ أسألُك العفوَ والعافيةَ في ديني ودنيايَ وأَهلي ومالي اللَّهمَّ استر عورتى وقالَ عثمانُ عوراتى وآمِن رَوعاتي اللَّهمَّ احفظني من بينِ يدىَّ ومن خَلفي وعن يَميني وعَن شِمالي ومن فَوقي وأعوذُ بعظَمتِك أن اغتالَ من تحتي

•"O Allah! I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, from being overwhelmed by debt and from the oppression of men."

•'O Allah! I ask You for Your love, the love of those who love You, and the deed that will bring me to Your love. O Allah! Make Your love more beloved to me than myself, my family, and cold water.'
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ حُبَّكَ، وَحُبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّكَ، وَالْعَمَلَ الَّذِي يُبَلِّغُنِي حُبَّكَ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ حُبَّكَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ نَفْسِي وَأَهْلِي وَمِنَ الْمَاءِ الْبَارِدِ
Jami' at-Tirmidhi 3490
•O Allah! Set right for me my religion, which is the safeguard of my affairs. Set right for me my worldly life, in which is my livelihood. Set right for me my Hereafter, to which is my return. Make life for me an increase in every good, and make death a relief for me from every evil!
اللَّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي دِينِيَ الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِي، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي دُنْيَايَ الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَاشِي، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي آخِرَتِيَ الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَادِي، وَاجْعَلِ الْحَيَاةَ زِيَادَةً لِي فِي كُلِّ خَيْرٍ، وَاجْعَلِ الْمَوْتَ رَاحَةً لِي مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ

•"O Allah! I ask You for steadfastness in all my affairs and determination in following the right path. I ask You for gratitude for Your blessings and excellent worship of You. O Allah! I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for the good of what You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You know, and I seek Your forgiveness for what You know."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الثَّبَاتَ فِي الْأَمْرِ، وَالْعَزِيمَةَ عَلَى الرُّشْدِ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ شُكْرَ نِعْمَتِكَ، وَحُسْنَ عِبَادَتِكَ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ قَلْبًا سَلِيمًا، وَلِسَانًا صَادِقًا، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا تَعْلَمُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا تَعْلَمُ، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا تَعْلَمُ
Sunan an-Nasa'i 1304
•"O Allah! I have wronged myself greatly. None forgives sins but You. So forgive me with a forgiveness from Yourself and have mercy on me! Indeed, You are the Forgiving, the Most Merciful."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْمًا كَثِيرًا، وَلَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ، وَارْحَمْنِي، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
Sahih Bukhari 834
•"O Allah! You are my Lord. There is no deity except You. You created me, and I am Your servant. I keep Your covenant and promise as much as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You Your blessings upon me, and I acknowledge my sin. So forgive me, for none can forgive sins except You."
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَىَّ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ ". قَالَ " وَمَنْ قَالَهَا مِنَ النَّهَارِ مُوقِنًا بِهَا، فَمَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُمْسِيَ، فَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَمَنْ قَالَهَا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَهْوَ مُوقِنٌ بِهَا، فَمَاتَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصْبِحَ، فَهْوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ".
Sahih Bukhari 6306
•"O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Fire, the punishment of the Fire, the trial of the grave, the punishment of the grave, from the evil of the trial of wealth, and from the evil of the trial of poverty. I seek refuge in You from the evil of the trial of the False Messiah. O Allah! Wash away my sins with the water of snow and hail. Purify my heart from sins as a white garment is purified from filth. Keep far between me and my sins as You have kept far the East from the West. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from laziness, the infirmity of old age, sin, and debt."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ النَّارِ وَعَذَابِ النَّارِ، وَفِتْنَةِ الْقَبْرِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْغِنَى، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْفَقْرِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْسِلْ خَطَايَايَ بِمَاءِ الثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ، وَنَقِّ قَلْبِي مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبَ الْأَبْيَضَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ، وَبَاعِدْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ خَطَايَايَ كَمَا بَاعَدْتَ بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَالْمَأْثَمِ وَالْمَغْرَمِ
Sahih Muslim 589b
•O Lord of Jibril, Mika'il, and Israfil! Creator of the heavens and the earth! Knower of the hidden and the open! You judge between Your servants in that over which they differ. Guide me by Your permission to the truth in that over which they differ. Indeed, You guide whom You will to the straight path.
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ جِبْرَائِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ وَإِسْرَافِيلَ، فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ، أَنْتَ تَحْكُمُ بَيْنَ عِبَادِكَ فِيمَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ، اهْدِنِي لِمَا اخْتُلِفَ فِيهِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ بِإِذْنِكَ، إِنَّكَ تَهْدِي مَنْ تَشَاءُ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
Sahih Muslim 770
•O ALLAH, You are my Lord. O ALLAH! I am Your servant. I am the son of Your male and female servants. My forelock is in Your hand. Your judgment over me is effective. Your decree concerning me is justice. I ask You by every name with which You have named Yourself, or which You have sent down in Your Book, or which You have taught to one of Your creation, or which You have kept with Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen: make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my breast, the dispeller of my sorrow, and the remover of my anxiety.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ، ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ، ابْنُ أَمَتِكَ، نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ، مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ، أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ، أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، أَوِ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ، أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي، وَنُورَ صَدْرِي، وَجَلَاءَ حُزْنِي، وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي

Grant my soul its piety and purify it; You are the best of purifiers. You are its Guardian and Master." "O Allah! I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that is not humble, from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a supplication that is not answered."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، اللَّهُمَّ آتِ نَفْسِي تَقْوَاهَا، وَزَكِّهَا أَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا، أَنْتَ وَلِيُّهَا وَمَوْلَاهَا، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ، وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ، وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ، وَمِنْ دَعْوَةٍ لَا يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا

يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ

•"O Allah! I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى
Sahih Muslim 2721a
•O Allah! I seek Your guidance by Your knowledge, and I seek ability by Your power, and I ask You of Your great bounty. For You are able, and I am not; You know, and I do not; and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah! If You know that this matter is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the outcome of my affair (or he said: in my immediate and deferred affair), then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and then bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is evil for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the outcome of my affair (or he said: in my immediate and deferred affair), then turn it away from me and turn me away from it. And decree for me the good wherever it may be, and then make me content with it.'
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ، وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيمِ، فَإِنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ وَلَا أَقْدِرُ، وَتَعْلَمُ وَلَا أَعْلَمُ، وَأَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ خَيْرٌ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي (أَوْ قَالَ: عَاجِلِ أَمْرِي وَآجِلِهِ) فَاقْدُرْهُ لِي وَيَسِّرْهُ لِي ثُمَّ بَارِكْ لِي فِيهِ، وَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ شَرٌّ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي (أَوْ قَالَ: عَاجِلِ أَمْرِي وَآجِلِهِ) فَاصْرِفْهُ عَنِّي وَاصْرِفْنِي عَنْهُ، وَاقْدُرْ لِيَ الْخَيْرَ حَيْثُ كَانَ ثُمَّ أَرْضِنِي بِهِ

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ، وَبِمُعَافَاتِكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ، لَا أُحْصِي ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ، أَنْتَ كَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا، وَفِي بَصَرِي نُورًا، وَفِي سَمْعِي نُورًا، وَعَنْ يَمِينِي نُورًا، وَعَنْ يَسَارِي نُورًا، وَفَوْقِي نُورًا، وَتَحْتِي نُورًا، وَأَمَامِي نُورًا، وَخَلْفِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ لِي نُورًا
Sahih Bukhari 6316
•O Allah, I have submitted myself to You. I have turned my face to You. I have entrusted my affairs to You. I have leaned my back on You (trusting and seeking refuge in You). (With patience hoping for reward and fear of punishment, avoiding it) I did this only out of love and fear of You. There is no refuge and no escape from You except to You. I believe in Your Book which You have sent down and in Your Prophet whom You have sent.
اللَّهُمَّ أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي إِلَيْكَ، وَفَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي إِلَيْكَ، وَوَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِي إِلَيْكَ، وَأَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي إِلَيْكَ، رَغْبَةً وَرَهْبَةً إِلَيْكَ، لاَ مَلْجَأَ وَلاَ مَنْجَا مِنْكَ إِلاَّ إِلَيْكَ، آمَنْتُ بِكِتَابِكَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلْتَ، وَبِنَبِيِّكَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلْتَ

•'O Allah! I seek refuge in You from evil and impure things (evil creatures, male and female devils).'

•"There is no true deity except Allah. He is One and has no partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise. He is over all things competent. اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، وَبَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

"O Allah! You alone we worship. We pray and prostrate only for You. Only to You we hasten and strive to draw near to You. We perform our worship with joy. We ask for the continuation and increase of Your mercy. We fear Your punishment. Surely, Your punishment reaches the disbelievers and the faithless."
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْتَعِينُكَ وَ نَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَ نَسْتَهْدِيكَ * وَ نُؤْمِنُ بِكَ وَ نَتُوبُ اِلَيْكَ * وَ نَتَوَكَّلُ عَلَيْكَ * وَ نُثْنِى عَلَيْكَ اْلخَيْرَ كُلَّهُ نَشْكُرُكَ وَ لاَ نَكْفُرُكَ * وَ نَخْلَعُ وَ نَتْرُكُ مَنْ يَفْجُرُكَ *
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَلَكَ نُصَلّ۪ى وَنَسْجُدُ * وَاِلَيْكَ نَسْعٰى وَنَحْفِدُ * نَرْجُو رَحْمَتَكَ وَنَخْشٰى عَذَابَكَ * اِنَّ عَذَابَكَ بِالْكُفَّارِ مُلْحِقٌ *
Tahawi, I, 249
•"O Allah! Guide me among those whom You have guided. Grant me well-being among those whom You have granted well-being. Take me under Your protection among those whom You have taken under Your protection. Bless me in what You have given me. Protect me from the evil of what You have decreed. Indeed, You decree and none can decree against You. Indeed, whoever You befriend is not humiliated. Whoever You oppose cannot be honored. O our Lord! You are Exalted and Blessed."
اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ، وَعَافِنِي فِيمَنْ عَافَيْتَ، وَتَوَلَّنِي فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَ، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَقِنِي شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَ، فَإِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلَا يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَ، وَإِنَّهُ لَا يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ، وَلَا يَعِزُّ مَنْ عَادَيْتَ، تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَ

Es Selamun Aleykum ve Rahmetullahi ve Berakatuh.
Bismillah.
Dua is a very special act of worship in which we are in one-on-one communication with our Lord. It is a unique moment when we are alone with our Lord, when we speak with Him, open ourselves up, convey our troubles, and make requests. It is a magnificent experience in which we can establish one-on-one communication with our Lord, who created the worlds out of nothing, and convey every request and trouble, big or small. It is the state in which we free ourselves from the regrets of the past, the anxieties of the future, and the problems of the present, and present our very selves to the Most High. One step beyond this state is, without doubt, to make dua with the prayers of righteous servants and prophets. To ask from Almighty ALLAH and to seek intercession through the prayers of those pious, faithful, sincere, beautiful people is, without doubt, an experience. Because just as making dua is important, the dua that is made is also important. Sometimes we may not be able to fully express what is good for us, what passes through our hearts, our requests, wishes, regrets, and gratitude. However, with the strong prayers of the prophets and righteous servants, we can learn to make dua in the most beautiful way, by ALLAH's permission. For this reason, in this article, we have prepared a beautiful compilation for you by selecting 64 verses from the Holy Qur'an, 50 hadiths, and 1 dua of a companion. VERSES FROM THE HOLY QUR'AN:
•Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. He is the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. It is You alone we worship and it is You alone we ask for help. Guide us to the straight path. The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor. Not of those who have incurred wrath, nor of those who have gone astray.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ
Fatiha 1-7
•"Our Lord! Accept this from us. Indeed, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing."
رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Bakara 127
•"Our Lord! Make us both submissive to You, and from our descendants a submissive nation to You. Show us our rites of worship, and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Acceptor of Repentance, the Most Merciful."
رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُسْلِمَةً لَكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
Bakara 128
•When a calamity befalls them, they say: "Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return."
الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Bakara 156
•There are those who say: "Our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Bakara 201
•"Our Lord! Pour upon us patience, make our feet firm, and grant us victory over the disbelieving people."
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Bakara 250
•"We make no distinction between any of His messengers. We have heard and we obey. Our Lord! We seek Your forgiveness, and to You is the final return."
آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ رَبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۚ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِنْ رُسُلِهِ ۚ وَقَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۖ غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ
Bakara 285
•Our Lord! Do not hold us accountable if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, do not place upon us a burden like that which You placed upon those before us. Our Lord! Do not burden us with that which we have no strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so grant us victory over the disbelieving people.
رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِنْ نَسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ ۖ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۚ أَنْتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Bakara 286
•Our Lord! Do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from Yourself; indeed, You are the Bestower.
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Al-i Imran 8
•"Our Lord! We have indeed believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Al-i Imran 16
•"O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty! You give sovereignty to whom You will, and You take away sovereignty from whom You will; You exalt whom You will and abase whom You will; in Your hand is all good. Indeed, You are over all things competent. You cause the night to enter the day, and You cause the day to enter the night; You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living; and You provide for whom You will without measure."
قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ وَتَنْزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشَاءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ ۖ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
تُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَتُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ ۖ وَتُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ ۖ وَتَرْزُقُ مَنْ تَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
Al-i Imran 26-27
•"Our Lord! We believe in what You have sent down, and we follow the Messenger; so write us among the witnesses."
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ
Al-i Imran 53
•"Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and our excesses in our affairs, make our feet firm, and grant us victory over the disbelieving people."
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

•Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.

•"Our Lord! You did not create this in vain. Exalted are You. Protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

•"Our Lord! Indeed, we heard a caller calling to faith, 'Believe in your Lord,' and we believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, remove from us our misdeeds, and cause us to die with the righteous."
رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلْإِيمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا ۚ رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ
Al-i Imran 193
•"Our Lord! Grant us what You promised us through Your messengers, and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You do not fail in Your promise."
رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدْتَنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۖ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ
Al-i Imran 194
•"Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves; if You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will surely be among the losers."
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
A'raf 23
•"Our Lord! Do not place us with the wrongdoing people."
رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
A'raf 47
•Our Lord! Pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims.
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ
A'raf 126
•"My Lord, exalted are You, I have repented to You."
سُبْحَانَكَ تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ
A'raf 143
•"My Lord! Forgive me and my brother, and admit us into Your mercy, for You are the Most Merciful of the merciful."
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِأَخِي وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِي رَحْمَتِكَ ۖ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
A'raf 151
•You are our Protector; forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best of forgivers. And decree for us good in this world and in the Hereafter; indeed, we have turned to You.
أَنْتَ وَلِيُّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۖ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْغَافِرِينَ
وَاكْتُبْ لَنَا فِي هَٰذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ إِنَّا هُدْنَا إِلَيْكَ
A'raf 155-156
•"Allah is sufficient for us; Allah will give us from His bounty, and so will His Messenger; indeed, we turn our hopes to Allah."
حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ سَيُؤْتِينَا اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَرَسُولُهُ إِنَّا إِلَى اللَّهِ رَاغِبُونَ
Tevbe 59
•"Allah is sufficient for me; there is no deity except Him; in Him I have put my trust; and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne."
حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ ۖ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
Tevbe 129
•"In Allah we have put our trust; Our Lord! Do not make us a trial for the wrongdoing people, and save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people."
عَلَى اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
وَنَجِّنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Yunus 85-86
•"My Lord! I seek refuge in You from asking You about that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy on me, I will be among the losers."
رَبِّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَسْأَلَكَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۖ وَإِلَّا تَغْفِرْ لِي وَتَرْحَمْنِي أَكُنْ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Hud 47
•My Lord! Prison is more to my liking than that to which they invite me. And unless You avert their plot from me, I might incline toward them and thus be of the ignorant.
رَبِّ السِّجْنُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا يَدْعُونَنِي إِلَيْهِ ۖ وَإِلَّا تَصْرِفْ عَنِّي كَيْدَهُنَّ أَصْبُ إِلَيْهِنَّ وَأَكُنْ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِينَ
Yusuf 33
•O Creator of the heavens and the earth! You are my Protector in this world and in the Hereafter; cause me to die as a Muslim and join me with the righteous.
فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَنْتَ وَلِيِّي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۖ تَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ
Yusuf 101
•"My Lord! Make me an establisher of prayer, and from my descendants. Our Lord! And accept my supplication."
رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِي ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ
Ibrahim 40
•"Our Lord! Forgive me, my parents, and the believers on the Day when the account is established."
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ
Ibrahim 41
•"My Lord! Have mercy on them as they raised me when I was small!"
رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
Isra 24
•"My Lord! Cause me to enter a sound entrance and cause me to exit a sound exit, and grant me from Yourself a supporting authority."
رَبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَلْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ سُلْطَانًا نَصِيرًا
Isra 80
•"Praise be to Allah, who has not taken a son, and who has no partner in sovereignty, nor has He any protector out of weakness. And magnify Him with all magnificence."
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَلِيٌّ مِنَ الذُّلِّ ۖ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيرًا
Isra 111
•"Our Lord! Grant us mercy from Yourself and guide us rightly in our affair."
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا
Kehf 10
•My Lord! Expand for me my chest, ease for me my task, untie the knot from my tongue that they may understand my speech.
رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي
وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي
وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانِي
يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي
Taha 25-28
•"My Lord! Increase me in knowledge."
رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
Taha 114
•"Adversity has touched me, (I seek refuge in You), and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful."
رَبِّ إِنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Anbiya 83
•"There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers."
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
Anbiya 87
•"My Lord! Do not leave me alone, and You are the best of inheritors."
رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِي فَرْدًا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ
Anbiya 89
•"My Lord! Support me because they have denied me."
رَبِّ انْصُرْنِي بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ
Mu'minun 26
•"My Lord! I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils. And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me."
رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ
وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ
Mu'minun 97-98
•"Our Lord! We have believed, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best of the merciful."
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۖ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Mu'minun 109
•"My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful."
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Mu'minun 118
•"Our Lord! Avert from us the punishment of Hell; indeed, its punishment is an enduring torment. Indeed, it is an evil residence and dwelling."
رَبَّنَا اصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا
إِنَّهَا سَاءَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَمُقَامًا
Furkan 65-66
•"Our Lord! Grant us from among our spouses and offspring comfort to our eyes, and make us leaders for the righteous."
رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
Furkan 74
•My Lord! Grant me wisdom and join me with the righteous. And grant me a good reputation among later generations. And make me among the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss. And do not disgrace me on the Day when they are resurrected, the Day when neither wealth nor children will benefit, except one who comes to Allah with a sound heart.
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ
وَاجْعَلْ لِي لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِي الْآخِرِينَ
وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنْ وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ النَّعِيمِ
وَلَا تُخْزِنِي يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ
يَوْمَ لَا يَنْفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ
إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى اللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ
Shuara 83-85, 87-89
•"My Lord! Enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into the ranks of Your righteous servants."
رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Neml 19
•"My Lord! Indeed, I have wronged myself, so forgive me."
رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي
Kasas 16
•"My Lord! Because of the favor You have bestowed upon me, I will never be a supporter of the criminals."
رَبِّ بِمَا أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ فَلَنْ أَكُونَ ظَهِيرًا لِلْمُجْرِمِينَ
Kasas 17
•"My Lord! Save me from the wrongdoing people."
رَبِّ نَجِّنِي مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
Kasas 21
•"My Lord! Indeed, I am in need of whatever good You send down to me."
رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ
Kasas 24
•"My Lord! Support me against the corrupting people."
رَبِّ انْصُرْنِي عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْمُفْسِدِينَ
Ankabut 30
•"O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen! You will judge between Your servants concerning that over which they differed."
اللَّهُمَّ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ أَنْتَ تَحْكُمُ بَيْنَ عِبَادِكَ فِي مَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
Zumer 46
•"Our Lord! Your mercy and knowledge encompass all things. So forgive those who repent and follow Your way, and protect them from the punishment of Hell."
رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ
Mu'min / Gafir
•"My Lord! Enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do righteousness of which You approve; and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims."
رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي فِي ذُرِّيَّتِي ۖ إِنِّي تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَإِنِّي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
Ahkaf 15
•"I have been overcome, so help me."
رَبِّ إِنِّي مَغْلُوبٌ فَانْتَصِرْ
Kamer 10
•"Our Lord! Forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith, and do not place in our hearts any resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord! Indeed, You are Kind and Merciful."
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ۚ رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ
Hashr 10
•"Our Lord! In You we have put our trust, and to You we have turned, and to You is the final destination. Our Lord! Do not make us a trial for the disbelievers; forgive us. Our Lord! Indeed, You are the Almighty, the Wise."
رَبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ
رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ۖ رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Mumtahina 4-5
•"Our Lord! Perfect for us our light and forgive us. Indeed, You are over all things competent."
رَبَّنَا أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Tahrim 8
•"My Lord! Do not leave upon the earth any disbeliever."
رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ دَيَّارًا
Nuh 26
•"My Lord! Forgive me, my parents, and whoever enters my house as a believer, and the believing men and believing women; and do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction."
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَنْ دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارًا
Nuh 28
•I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn, from the evil of what He has created, from the evil of darkness when it settles, from the evil of those who blow on knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies.
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ
مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ
وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ
وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
Felak 1-5
•I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the Sovereign of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer, who whispers in the breasts of mankind, from among the jinn and mankind.
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ
مَلِكِ النَّاسِ
إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ
مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ
الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ
مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ
Nas 1-6
HADITHS:
•"O Allah! Forgive me my sin, my ignorance, my excess in my affairs, and all my faults of which You are more knowledgeable than I. O Allah! Forgive me my serious and joking deeds, my mistakes and intentional deeds. All of these are within me. O Allah! Forgive me what I have sent ahead and what I have left behind, what I have concealed and what I have done openly, and what You are more knowledgeable of than I. You are the Advancer and the Delayer, and You are over all things competent."
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي خَطِيئَتِي وَجَهْلِي وَإِسْرَافِي فِي أَمْرِي وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي جِدِّي وَهَزْلِي، وَخَطَئِي وَعَمْدِي، وَكُلُّ ذَلِكَ عِنْدِي، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ، وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ، وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي، أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ، وَأَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Sahih Muslim 2719
•O Allah! To You alone I have submitted; in You I have believed; in You I have put my trust; to You I have turned; and with Your help I have fought the enemy. O Allah! I seek refuge in Your might—there is no deity except You—from being led astray. You are the Living One who does not die, while jinn and mankind die.
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ، وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّتِكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَنْ تُضِلَّنِي، أَنْتَ الْحَيُّ الَّذِي لَا يَمُوتُ، وَالْجِنُّ وَالْإِنْسُ يَمُوتُونَ
Sahih Muslim 2717
•O Allah! Indeed, I ask You for every kind of good, immediate and deferred, what I know of it and what I do not know. And I seek refuge in You from every kind of evil, immediate and deferred, what I know of it and what I do not know. O Allah! Indeed, I ask You for the good that Your servant and Prophet asked of You, and I seek refuge in You from the evil from which Your servant and Prophet sought refuge in You. O Allah! Indeed, I ask You for Paradise and for words and deeds that bring one closer to it, and I seek refuge in You from the Fire and from words and deeds that bring one closer to it. And I ask You to make every decree You have decreed for me good.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ كُلِّهِ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا سَأَلَكَ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَاذَ بِكَ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ كُلَّ قَضَاءٍ قَضَيْتَهُ لِي خَيْرًا
Sunan Ibn Majah 3846
•"O Allah! I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the Hereafter."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ
Sunan Ibn Majah 3851
•O Allah! I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah! I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly life, my family, and my property. O Allah! Conceal my faults and calm my fears. O Allah! Protect me from what is in front of me, behind me, on my right, on my left, and above me. I seek refuge in Your greatness from being struck down from beneath me."
اللَّهمَّ إنِّي أسألُك العافيةَ في الدُّنيا والآخرةِ اللَّهمَّ أسألُك العفوَ والعافيةَ في ديني ودنيايَ وأَهلي ومالي اللَّهمَّ استر عورتى وقالَ عثمانُ عوراتى وآمِن رَوعاتي اللَّهمَّ احفظني من بينِ يدىَّ ومن خَلفي وعن يَميني وعَن شِمالي ومن فَوقي وأعوذُ بعظَمتِك أن اغتالَ من تحتي
Sunan Abu Dawud 5074
•"O Allah! I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, from being overwhelmed by debt and from the oppression of men."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَقَهْرِ الرِّجَالِ
Sahih Bukhari 6369
•O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessing, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all that incurs Your wrath.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ، وَتَحَوُّلِ عَافِيَتِكَ، وَفُجَاءَةِ نِقْمَتِكَ، وَجَمِيعِ سَخَطِكَ

•O Allah! I seek refuge in You from incapacity, laziness, cowardice, the infirmity of old age, and miserliness. I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and from the trials of life and death.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَالْهَرَمِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ

•"O Allah! Indeed, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done and from the evil of what I have not done."

•O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, from the evil of my sight, from the evil of my tongue, from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my desire.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ مُنْكَرَاتِ الْأَخْلَاقِ، وَالْأَعْمَالِ، وَالْأَهْوَاءِ

•'O Allah! I ask You for Your love, the love of those who love You, and the deed that will bring me to Your love. O Allah! Make Your love more beloved to me than myself, my family, and cold water.'
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ حُبَّكَ، وَحُبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّكَ، وَالْعَمَلَ الَّذِي يُبَلِّغُنِي حُبَّكَ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ حُبَّكَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ نَفْسِي وَأَهْلِي وَمِنَ الْمَاءِ الْبَارِدِ
Jami' at-Tirmidhi 3490
•O Allah! Set right for me my religion, which is the safeguard of my affairs. Set right for me my worldly life, in which is my livelihood. Set right for me my Hereafter, to which is my return. Make life for me an increase in every good, and make death a relief for me from every evil!
اللَّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي دِينِيَ الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِي، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي دُنْيَايَ الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَاشِي، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي آخِرَتِيَ الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَادِي، وَاجْعَلِ الْحَيَاةَ زِيَادَةً لِي فِي كُلِّ خَيْرٍ، وَاجْعَلِ الْمَوْتَ رَاحَةً لِي مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ
Sahih Muslim 2720
•"O Allah! I ask You for steadfastness in all my affairs and determination in following the right path. I ask You for gratitude for Your blessings and excellent worship of You. O Allah! I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for the good of what You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You know, and I seek Your forgiveness for what You know."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الثَّبَاتَ فِي الْأَمْرِ، وَالْعَزِيمَةَ عَلَى الرُّشْدِ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ شُكْرَ نِعْمَتِكَ، وَحُسْنَ عِبَادَتِكَ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ قَلْبًا سَلِيمًا، وَلِسَانًا صَادِقًا، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا تَعْلَمُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا تَعْلَمُ، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا تَعْلَمُ
Sunan an-Nasa'i 1304
•"O Allah! I have wronged myself greatly. None forgives sins but You. So forgive me with a forgiveness from Yourself and have mercy on me! Indeed, You are the Forgiving, the Most Merciful."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْمًا كَثِيرًا، وَلَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ، وَارْحَمْنِي، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
Sahih Bukhari 834
•"O Allah! You are my Lord. There is no deity except You. You created me, and I am Your servant. I keep Your covenant and promise as much as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You Your blessings upon me, and I acknowledge my sin. So forgive me, for none can forgive sins except You."
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَىَّ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ ". قَالَ " وَمَنْ قَالَهَا مِنَ النَّهَارِ مُوقِنًا بِهَا، فَمَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُمْسِيَ، فَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَمَنْ قَالَهَا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَهْوَ مُوقِنٌ بِهَا، فَمَاتَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصْبِحَ، فَهْوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ".
Sahih Bukhari 6306
•"O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Fire, the punishment of the Fire, the trial of the grave, the punishment of the grave, from the evil of the trial of wealth, and from the evil of the trial of poverty. I seek refuge in You from the evil of the trial of the False Messiah. O Allah! Wash away my sins with the water of snow and hail. Purify my heart from sins as a white garment is purified from filth. Keep far between me and my sins as You have kept far the East from the West. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from laziness, the infirmity of old age, sin, and debt."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ النَّارِ وَعَذَابِ النَّارِ، وَفِتْنَةِ الْقَبْرِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْغِنَى، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْفَقْرِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْسِلْ خَطَايَايَ بِمَاءِ الثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ، وَنَقِّ قَلْبِي مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبَ الْأَبْيَضَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ، وَبَاعِدْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ خَطَايَايَ كَمَا بَاعَدْتَ بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَالْمَأْثَمِ وَالْمَغْرَمِ
Sahih Muslim 589b
•O Lord of Jibril, Mika'il, and Israfil! Creator of the heavens and the earth! Knower of the hidden and the open! You judge between Your servants in that over which they differ. Guide me by Your permission to the truth in that over which they differ. Indeed, You guide whom You will to the straight path.
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ جِبْرَائِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ وَإِسْرَافِيلَ، فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ، أَنْتَ تَحْكُمُ بَيْنَ عِبَادِكَ فِيمَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ، اهْدِنِي لِمَا اخْتُلِفَ فِيهِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ بِإِذْنِكَ، إِنَّكَ تَهْدِي مَنْ تَشَاءُ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
Sahih Muslim 770
•O ALLAH, You are my Lord. O ALLAH! I am Your servant. I am the son of Your male and female servants. My forelock is in Your hand. Your judgment over me is effective. Your decree concerning me is justice. I ask You by every name with which You have named Yourself, or which You have sent down in Your Book, or which You have taught to one of Your creation, or which You have kept with Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen: make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my breast, the dispeller of my sorrow, and the remover of my anxiety.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ، ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ، ابْنُ أَمَتِكَ، نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ، مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ، أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ، أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، أَوِ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ، أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي، وَنُورَ صَدْرِي، وَجَلَاءَ حُزْنِي، وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي

•"O Allah! I seek refuge in You from incapacity, laziness, cowardice, miserliness, the infirmity of old age, and the punishment of the grave." "O Allah! I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that is not humble, from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a supplication that is not answered."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، اللَّهُمَّ آتِ نَفْسِي تَقْوَاهَا، وَزَكِّهَا أَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا، أَنْتَ وَلِيُّهَا وَمَوْلَاهَا، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ، وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ، وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ، وَمِنْ دَعْوَةٍ لَا يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا

•O Allah! I seek Your guidance by Your knowledge, and I seek ability by Your power, and I ask You of Your great bounty. For You are able, and I am not; You know, and I do not; and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah! If You know that this matter is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the outcome of my affair (or he said: in my immediate and deferred affair), then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and then bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is evil for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the outcome of my affair (or he said: in my immediate and deferred affair), then turn it away from me and turn me away from it. And decree for me the good wherever it may be, and then make me content with it.'
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ، وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيمِ، فَإِنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ وَلَا أَقْدِرُ، وَتَعْلَمُ وَلَا أَعْلَمُ، وَأَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ خَيْرٌ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي (أَوْ قَالَ: عَاجِلِ أَمْرِي وَآجِلِهِ) فَاقْدُرْهُ لِي وَيَسِّرْهُ لِي ثُمَّ بَارِكْ لِي فِيهِ، وَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ شَرٌّ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي (أَوْ قَالَ: عَاجِلِ أَمْرِي وَآجِلِهِ) فَاصْرِفْهُ عَنِّي وَاصْرِفْنِي عَنْهُ، وَاقْدُرْ لِيَ الْخَيْرَ حَيْثُ كَانَ ثُمَّ أَرْضِنِي بِهِ

•O Allah, I have submitted myself to You. I have turned my face to You. I have entrusted my affairs to You. I have leaned my back on You (trusting and seeking refuge in You). (With patience hoping for reward and fear of punishment, avoiding it) I did this only out of love and fear of You. There is no refuge and no escape from You except to You. I believe in Your Book which You have sent down and in Your Prophet whom You have sent.
اللَّهُمَّ أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي إِلَيْكَ، وَفَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي إِلَيْكَ، وَوَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِي إِلَيْكَ، وَأَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي إِلَيْكَ، رَغْبَةً وَرَهْبَةً إِلَيْكَ، لاَ مَلْجَأَ وَلاَ مَنْجَا مِنْكَ إِلاَّ إِلَيْكَ، آمَنْتُ بِكِتَابِكَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلْتَ، وَبِنَبِيِّكَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلْتَ

Forgive me (conceal my sins)!"
لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَشَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَ هُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، سُبْحَانَ اللهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ ِللهِ، وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ، وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلاَحَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ، رَبِّ اغْفِرْ ليِ.

•"O Allah! Send mercy upon Muhammad and his family as You sent mercy upon Ibrahim and his family. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. O Allah! Send blessings upon Muhammad and his family as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim and his family. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious."
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، وَبَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

We thank You. We do not deny any of Your blessings and we do not attribute them to others. We abandon and leave those who defy You."
"O Allah! You alone we worship. We pray and prostrate only for You. Only to You we hasten and strive to draw near to You. We perform our worship with joy. We ask for the continuation and increase of Your mercy. We fear Your punishment. Surely, Your punishment reaches the disbelievers and the faithless."
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْتَعِينُكَ وَ نَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَ نَسْتَهْدِيكَ * وَ نُؤْمِنُ بِكَ وَ نَتُوبُ اِلَيْكَ * وَ نَتَوَكَّلُ عَلَيْكَ * وَ نُثْنِى عَلَيْكَ اْلخَيْرَ كُلَّهُ نَشْكُرُكَ وَ لاَ نَكْفُرُكَ * وَ نَخْلَعُ وَ نَتْرُكُ مَنْ يَفْجُرُكَ *
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَلَكَ نُصَلّ۪ى وَنَسْجُدُ * وَاِلَيْكَ نَسْعٰى وَنَحْفِدُ * نَرْجُو رَحْمَتَكَ وَنَخْشٰى عَذَابَكَ * اِنَّ عَذَابَكَ بِالْكُفَّارِ مُلْحِقٌ *
Tahawi, I, 249
•"O Allah! Guide me among those whom You have guided. Grant me well-being among those whom You have granted well-being. Take me under Your protection among those whom You have taken under Your protection. Bless me in what You have given me. Protect me from the evil of what You have decreed. Indeed, You decree and none can decree against You. Indeed, whoever You befriend is not humiliated. Whoever You oppose cannot be honored. O our Lord! You are Exalted and Blessed."
اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ، وَعَافِنِي فِيمَنْ عَافَيْتَ، وَتَوَلَّنِي فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَ، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَقِنِي شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَ، فَإِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلَا يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَ، وَإِنَّهُ لَا يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ، وَلَا يَعِزُّ مَنْ عَادَيْتَ، تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَ
Abu Dawud, "Witr", 5
•"O Allah! You are Most Forgiving, and You love to forgive; so forgive me."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Sunan Tirmidhi 3513
BONUS:
•"O Allah! I complain to You of the weakness of my strength, my helplessness, and my insignificance before people. O Most Merciful of the merciful! You are the Lord of the weak and You are my Lord. To whom are You leaving me? To a distant one who frowns at me, or to an enemy to whom You have entrusted my affair? If You are not angry with me, I do not care. But Your well-being is more expansive for me. I seek refuge in the light of Your face, by which the darknesses are illuminated and the affairs of this world and the Hereafter are set right, from Your wrath descending upon me or Your displeasure befalling me. To You belongs the right to be pleased until You are pleased. There is no might and no power except with You."اللَّهُمَّ إِلَيْكَ أَشْكُو ضَعْفَ قُوَّتِي، وَقِلَّةَ حِيلَتِي، وَهَوَانِي عَلَى النَّاسِ، يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ، أَنْتَ رَبُّ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ، وَأَنْتَ رَبِّي، إِلَى مَنْ تَكِلُنِي؟ إِلَى بَعِيدٍ يَتَجَهَّمُنِي؟ أَمْ إِلَى عَدُوٍّ مَلَّكْتَهُ أَمْرِي؟ إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ بِكَ عَلَيَّ غَضَبٌ فَلَا أُبَالِي، وَلَكِنْ عَافِيَتُكَ هِيَ أَوْسَعُ لِي، أَعُوذُ بِنُورِ وَجْهِكَ الَّذِي أَشْرَقَتْ لَهُ الظُّلُمَاتُ، وَصَلُحَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْرُ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، مِنْ أَنْ تُنْزِلَ بِي غَضَبَكَ، أَوْ يَحِلَّ عَلَيَّ سَخَطُكَ، لَكَ الْعُتْبَى حَتَّى تَرْضَى، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِكَ
Sirah Ibn Hisham, 1/421 (Weak)
•"My Lord! Make my task easy, do not make it difficult; My Lord! Complete it with goodness."
رَبِّ يَسِّرْ وَلَا تُعَسِّرْ، رَبِّ تَمِّمْ بِالْخَيْرِ
Spiritually sound but not a hadith/verse.
